Article 1 on building your PLN part 1, best explains the PLN as a collection of people and resources. Through my PLN I can consult to learn something or to ask questions about something. The possibilities to expand my existing learning network to include resources and people from across the world is an incredible asset in my job. This article is great to share with any staff member interested in getting started on their own PLN.
Article 2 will also be an excellent resource to share with teachers interested in their own PLN. In conjunction with this I can work with teachers to follow blogs and set up RSS feeds. The main point I got from this article is that the more I put into my PLN, the more I will get back. I am anxious to get started on expanding my expertise in all kinds of ways through the use of my PLN.
The tools I used to develop this page are fun and inviting to others that visit. The Padlet allows for collaboration within my wiki and the globe and counter helps me to validate the work I do and the value of what I put into it. All the reflections included throughout my wiki further my meta-cognitive development and help foster this in others. The development of each feature of this page required synthesize and reflection.
